August Featured Artist: Christa Oglan

Christa works magic.
Often very large, usually non representational/abstract, always amazing.

Island, 16x20, mixed media $400.00

August Featured Artist: Deb Dicker

Deb see's beauty, where others see only detritus. Her mixed media work is highly textured and full of found objects that she transforms.
Her drum heads, prove the point. Worn and headed for the heap, they instead become beautiful art, like butterflies emerging from chrysalis.

August Featured Artist: Kim Yuhasz

I'm a huge fan of Textured work, so it's no surprise that I find Kim's work, which borders on sculpture so intriguing.  Much of her work is inspired by water, which is easily seen in her luscious pallet.
Barnacle Seascape, Acrylic, 12x36, $250.00

August Featured Artist; Jim Seaton-Digital Artist

Jim is an avid traveller and photographer. He has also mastered the art of digital manipulation which he uses to enhance the already incredible photographs he's taken on his journeys.
Interesting then, that the piece he choose to have featured this month is un-manipulated, the pure image though does show his talent, in the raw so to speak.
Three In A Row, Photography, 21x25, $120.00

August Featured Artist: Nancy Yuhasz

Having studied Art at Western in her youth, this lively  septuagenarian is a life long artist.
Nancy's signature stylized style is full of quirky humour, as is the woman herself. I hope we're all like Nancy, when we grow up!
The Magnificent Seven, Acrylic 24x20, $350.00

August Featured Artist, Tom Scanlan

Tom has acquired international fame with consistent wins at  the Worlds Carving Championship in Ocean City Maryland.
His work is indescribably delicate, so detailed that we actually have had people visiting the gallery remain unconvinced that the animals and birds aren't real, until they touch them and feel the wood.
His featured work this month is a life sized humming bird that will steal your heart.

Ruby Throat, wood, 5x5x7, $150.00
